"In the hidden corridors of our imagination, lies the doorway to a world of limitless possibilities. Sometimes, the greatest adventures begin with a single step through an unexpected portal."
In 9th grade, I embarked on a project inspired by a photo from Harris Burdick. My story unfolds around a boy who, placed in an orphanage at the age of one, overhears mysterious voices by his bedside, prompting him to flee to his best friend's house. There, he stumbles upon a peculiar closet lacking a back wall, leading him into a fantastical realm bursting with imagination. In this alternate world, he must muster his courage to rescue a kingdom ensnared by the clutches of the malevolent Animaka. Drawing from the essence of Narnia, I authored this tale myself, crafting it as a personal endeavour not intended for transcription or distribution."
