This is a flash fiction, meaning each chapter is a different short story. I named the collection Monochrome Lies because I felt it described the overall ambiance of the four stories. Black and white isn't reality and yet its what we choose to set it as. Each story can have a black and white reason for the outcome: natural disaster, mental insanity, mysterious disappearance, and even just a bad break-in. But each story also relays the vividness in each human tragedy. We all live with black and white filters over our eyes and die with them off. Nothing is truly black and white; and if it is, it's simply a lie.
