The course of true love never did run smooth... Rachael Reed, backstage dresser and stagehand at The Shakespeare Theater in Philadelphia, leaves her alcoholic husband behind to travel to New York City with famous classical English Actor Hugh Davidson. What starts off as a professional relationship between two dedicated dramatists heats up after a drunken cast party where parks fly and clothes end up on the floor. As they continue to try to work together despite the tensions and the unwelcome passion blossoming between them, Rachael has to make somedifficult decisions about where her priorities lie.
