A land of shadows, of mystery, of obfuscated Truth. Welcome to the Greylands, that strange world, within the bounds of Time, peopled by mortal men. We cannot see truly, only as through a glass, darkly. There are things that move and have their being completely beyond our ability to perceive them. There are things beyond our mortal ability to comprehend. There are hints and glimmers hidden within the body of revealed Truth, but there is much we do not know, cannot yet understand, and could never dare dream. These stories are mere fancy, with a seed of Truth at their core. They play with the ideas of mortality and Eternity, Time and things beyond it, and of course the epic battle of Good against Evil. Each stands alone, and though there are common themes, threads, names, and concepts, each story is an entity unto itself and should not be seen as occurring in the same world or mistaken for installments of a series. These are random musings, not Gospel Truth, and should not be taken as such. Joy, hope, and encouragement are hopefully a byproduct, but certainly not sound Theology. If you would know more of the true world beyond these Greylands, one must be a careful student of the Scriptures, not of silly stories such as these. While still fairytales, these stories are set in modern surroundings rather than the land of Faerie! Each story is unique unto itself, and doesn't reference any other story, world or character elsewhere.

In the small, isolated town of Briar Hollow, strange occurrences have begun to unsettle the once peaceful community. People are vanishing without a trace, and those who remain speak of eerie figures lurking in the dark, silent as shadows. The townsfolk are gripped by fear, unwilling to venture out after sunset. At the heart of the mystery is the abandoned Hawthorn Manor, a decaying mansion that has stood untouched on the outskirts of town for decades. Rumors swirl about its dark past, involving a family that mysteriously disappeared many years ago. Now, whispers of a curse draw curious outsiders and thrill-seekers, but none return the same-or at all. When 17-year-old Emily Weaver's best friend goes missing after daring to explore the manor, Emily is determined to uncover the truth. Armed with a mix of skepticism and desperation, she gathers a group of unlikely allies-each with their own reasons for seeking answers. Together, they delve into the chilling history of Hawthorn Manor, uncovering secrets buried deep within the town's history. As they piece together the puzzle, they discover that the manor is not just haunted by spirits of the past, but by an ancient, malevolent force that thrives on fear and darkness. The closer they get to the truth, the more dangerous their journey becomes, as the shadows seem to come alive, watching their every move. In a race against time, Emily and her friends must confront the source of the evil before it consumes them all, forcing them to face their deepest fears and uncover the long-buried secrets that could either save the town-or doom it forever.

Not your average rejection story. Usually the boy does something stupid - and keeps being stupid - the girl forgives and forgets and gets pulled in by the mate bond. Ignoring all his transgressions because 'the bond said so'. Not this time, sometimes fate gets it wrong and sometimes you grow out of things; like love. Vivian Clark is a mostly normal girl, as normal as you can be when you're more than eccentric mother is the head of a coven of witches. Something that; according to her, is a long standing tradition and more people need their apothecary than Viv realizes. While Vivian practices magic and identifies as a witch, it's more of a religion than a lifestyle in her eyes. She doesn't know there are very real powers laying dormant in her bloodline, and very real creatures that not only lurk in the night but often lurk on her doorstep. Trevor Erikson; a hot shot jock, a playboy, and Mr. Popularity, he could have any girl he wants and often does. Going from one to another and enjoying every minute of it. Despite the fact that he's a werewolf and an alpha's son, he could care less about fated mates or finding a luna for his pack. Which he'll eventually take over at the end of the school year. He doesn't take it too well when his fated mate shows up unannounced, and he does what any asshole would do. He rejects her at first sight. How will the two manage with a rejection floating between them for the remainder of the school year? ************************************** A fast-paced romance with mature scenes, all based in a fantasy world. If that's your vibe this is your story to read. This is my second work and I had to get it out of my brain cause it's all I could think of while writing a completely different book, there will be slow updates.

SHORT STORY In the wake of her mother's tragic murder, Lily grapples with the trauma that haunts her every step. Seeking solace and purpose, she channels her grief into founding an outreach program aimed at helping others heal from their own pasts. But as Lily begins to build a community of survivors, she is confronted by the shadow of her past: J, the man responsible for her mother's death. When J reappears, claiming to have changed and offering to help her cause, Lily is torn between her desire for closure and the instinct to protect herself. As she navigates the complexities of trust and betrayal, the line between predator and ally blurs. The more she learns about J's history, the more she questions her own ability to discern truth from manipulation. As the outreach program gains momentum, Lily finds strength in her community, forging deep connections that offer hope and healing. But J's presence looms large, threatening to unravel everything she has worked for. In a high-stakes confrontation, Lily must face her fears, confront her trauma, and ultimately decide whether to embrace forgiveness or seek justice. In Shadows of Silence, the battle for redemption unfolds against a backdrop of resilience and empowerment, exploring the nuances of healing, the shadows of the past, and the enduring power of hope. As the story culminates in a gripping climax, readers are left with a haunting question: Can true change emerge from darkness, or will the shadows always remain?
