Natalie DeVigne is NOT a medium. She is, however, part of a small portion of the population who can see into the realm, that all souls must pass through, known as the Between. All her life she's been told that she was born to do something big, but after eighteen years of waiting for her moment, she had begun to doubt. That is until she and her three best friends, one of which has been dead for 104 years, are called upon to help save the world from the dark forces breaking into the, otherwise peaceful, realm of the afterlife. Can they adjust to being pulled into a new realm while also fighting a war? Will Natalie be able to save the bridge between the living realm and the afterlife, or will her big prophesized moment prove to be too much for her?

Friendless and timid, Guinevere is stuck in her socially anxious shadow, content to let her sister lead and live a sheltered life. Without Natalie pushing her to break out of her comfort zone, she'd be trapped in fear. The world is scary, even her own family conflicts terrify her; she needs Natalie's support. But what happens when Natalie, her big sister, her mentor and only real friend, suddenly can't be there for every moment of her life? Lola, raised to be a hardworking farmer, when all she wants is a bit of agency over her life, the freedom to do what she wants. And yet, she is perfectly willing to let Natalie handle conversations for her. For as much as she wants to be free, she wouldn't know what to do with herself, get meticulously caught up in planning the details and never end up doing anything. And Natalie, who has no personal desires, simply living in moments and finding the best in whatever is going on. Freely engaging with her friends and helping them, as she lacks her own internal drive, the self awareness to know what she wants. After a long childhood struggle with her self esteem and valuing herself, that has become what she "needs," her coping strategy with rough situations. Being complacent with what happens to her and simply accepting, with no real goals of her own, no idea that her friends are just as directionless as she is. When health complications arise for her, and her friend group is falling apart around her as she can't guide them, she'll have to ask the essential questions that she can't simply answer in a quick sentence. The questions that she has long dismissed as unimportant. Is this what she truly wants, to be solely fulfilled by everyone else depending on her for support? And where does she draw the line? This story touches on potentially triggering content, including the use of slurs, toxic family relationships, anxiety, anger, and death. Remembrance of the Forlorn by Shinkuroda

From the book that was never meant to be gentle. Love doesn't save but damns beautifully! These are fragments of Remembrance. The full story must be sought, for the path of memory never comes easy. A cosmic dark romance born between myth and rebellion. The world you know is a deception - built by the False God in arrogance. A trap for the soul, an endless loop to keep humanity ignorant of its higher destiny. We live. We suffer. We die. We forget. And the cycle repeats. Zha'Rukhel, the Lord of Gravity, was once the son of that False God - one of the architects of this cruel system. On the day he was to ascend the throne, he rebelled. For that defiance, he was cast down to Earth, bound in undying flesh, condemned to mislead mankind and keep it from remembering. But something within him stirred. He watched. He learned. He wept. And in that silence, he was granted the one thing the False God feared most - a soul. - The Dark Soul. - When that soul chose him, he discovered that remembrance itself could break the cycle. Ælora, a girl from the Isle of Man, is handed a forgotten tome that awakens visions - or memories - of a man cloaked in shadow. Drawn east across deserts, ruins, and oceans, she follows the fire within her toward the one called the Lord of Gravity, who has walked the Earth for sixteen millennia. Their fates are bound by a memory older than civilization. When she reaches the sacred shores of the Land of the Rising Sun, she meets him - the one who buried her, loved her, betrayed her... again and again. She feels it, but cannot remember. Yet the pull between them is undeniable. Epic in scale yet intimate in flesh, theirs is a love shaped by defiance and gravity itself - an aching orbit between souls drawn together through lifetimes of fire, passion, and remembrance. 🖤 Love that damns beautifully. 🔥 Gnostic lore, forbidden divinity, reincarnation, and fate. 🌑 Ignorance will bind you. Remembrance will set you free.
Life After Death (Book 1 of After Death Trilogy) by Sweet_Mango
40 parts Complete Mature
COMPLETED! First book of the After Death Trilogy. --------------------------- My life ended with a stupid fall. My afterlife began in a monster-infested realm called Injusto. --------------------------- I always thought Death would be peaceful. An end to the struggle, the pain, the quiet exhaustion of just existing. I was so wrong. I woke up in Injusto, a realm of lost souls and terrifying creatures, and learned that death wasn't an end, but a violent, chaotic second chance. Here, survival is a daily battle, and god-like Ethereals bestow cryptic blessings that feel more like burdens. My only plan was to not die a second, even more embarrassing, time. Then he appeared. Krin, a stoic Dragon-Lord from a secret, floating sanctuary. He saved me, offering a glimpse of something I thought was lost forever: hope. My second chance is turning into an epic quest I'm not ready for. And I'm not sure I'll ever be. ========== Copyright Copyright © 2025 by Claire Burns. All rights reserved. Alchemy has always been a key to understanding the universe, yet it has often been dismissed as mere superstition. The truth seared through my veins like scorching heat, igniting every cell of my being with a searing, uncompromising judgment. I sacrificed everything-my strength and sense of identity-chasing after an overwhelming purpose. Duty and conviction waged a war against a primal yearning for freedom, unleashing a maelstrom of emotions that threatened to tear me apart. This internal hell fueled an insatiable, maddening lust for vengeance, obliterating my moral compass and propelling me toward utter destruction. Only when I made a final decision did the fundamental principles of morality seem to slip through my fingers like grains of sand. Each savage blow against the oppressive system left me questioning: am I a righteous crusader, or a monster consumed by hatred? The poisonous doubt gnawed at my mind, suffocating my thoughts with insidious whispers. Yet, I found the strength to silence them. With fierce determination burning in my veins, I vowed to break free from the chains of oppression or die trying. Fear would not hold me captive any longer. As I teetered on the edge of life and death, I couldn't help but wonder: would I emerge victorious or succumb to the relentless wheels of fate? The answer lies shrouded in the mists of an uncertain future, but one thing is irrefutable: win or lose, every decision will ignite an inferno of change. This cataclysmic revolution will raze the old world and herald the birth of a new era. In this cosmic roulette, even the most steadfast warriors can turn to dust in the blink of an eye. Therefore, are you willing to participate? Given that there always was, is, and will be war. Hope stands stronger than fear, yet anything is possible when darkness lingers. It is the deflection of accountability and guilt. Yet when all seems lost, trust that the butterfly knows where the water flows.
