The continent of Kiris had four emblems that helped keep mobs at bay. They were destroyed by an evil sorcerer who tried to take over the continent, by controlling the mobs using dark magic. The sorcerer was stopped by 8 mysterious warriors, who disappeared just as sudden as they had appeared. They were referred to as the Emblem knights. A few years later a sage received a vision that new emblems had been formed. Its been two thousand years since humanity lost their home planet and a thousand since they first made landfall on the world they now call home. The trip was long and fraught with danger but they managed to survive in no small part to the new gods they found along the way. The Celestial Court granted life to various forms of variant human species, sculpted to perfection as the next evolution for mankind. After a thousand years however humanity finds itself on the edge of collapse, as technology from the old world breaks down more and more the people of the new world are regressing into a more feudal state of living. As technology declines and degrades, magic and the supernatural has become the norm. Conflicts are on the rise between the different factions of the Celestial Empire all while the gods themselves watch from above silently. In one small corner of the Empire rests the Black Coast, home to the mysterious and ostracized race known as the Twins. It is in this quiet place that a set of triplets will determine the fate of not just the Empire, but the world as a whole for decades to come. --- This is a book I've been working on for a few years when I have the time.
