Once upon a time, thousands of years ago, men and fae lived side by side. These were often dark times, as men had little means to defend themselves from the powerful creatures capable of destroying villages in mere seconds. Through bloody battle and tough negotiations with the High Faerie nobility, an agreement of sorts had been reached: A Treaty. Men on the southern half of the continent, Faeries on the top half.

Plain and simple... Until it isn't.

Ella Blackwell has duties. Insurmountable, crushing duties. As the Duke's daughter, she's been born and raised to accomplish what all women in Rhothomir's high society are meant to do-marry well, secure an alliance, and bear the perfect heirs to continue traditions.

Except, Ella's not really the perfect blue-blooded aristocrat she's expected to be.

In the midst of rising political tensions between the Kingdom of Rhothomir and Fae Realm, and a blooming war, Ella finds her life completely upended from one moment to the next, ripped away from everything she's ever known.

Follow along for a High Fantasy adventure full of Faerie royalty, courtly intrigue, backstabbing nobles, political schemes, steel-strong friendship and love.

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover. The Visrel sisters have been reunited, but their lives will never be the same. Seraiah is wracked with guilt for the lives she thinks she could have saved. She is determined to learn more about her abilities and hone her talents so it won't happen again. However, she soon learns that the stronger her visions grow--the weaker her mind becomes. Sterling is now a queen without a kingdom, and she finds herself battling an entirely different beast. She is certain the only one who can explain what is happening to her is Ren, her necromancer friend, but he seems to have disappeared along with the other mages. The sisters' inner demons have come out to play and will put their bond to the test. They will learn there is a fine line between good and evil, and the world isn't quite as black and white as they once thought. ==================================================================== This is Book 2 in The Lost Queen series.
