Taking place after Captain America: Civil War, Natasha is on the run. She made a choice, and she must pay for it. What originally started out as a solo venture becomes something that she never would have expected. James Buchanan Barnes is back in her life, and neither of them knows what to do about it. Slowly, they make their way back to each other. But what happens when Natasha's unrevealed past, before she even met James, comes back to haunt her and those she cares about?
This is a story about Buckynat, so don't worry, we'll always come back to that. But every chapter adds more.
Black Widow movie spoilers become prominent in Chapter 15.
I've always felt that there was something we weren't being told by the MCU in regards to the Buckynat relationship, so I decided to write what I thought was going through their minds during Civil War with a bit of a twist in the storylines as Bucky begins to remember Natasha and Nat tries to put the romance behind her when she believes all hope is lost.
All characters and original storylines belong to Marvel and the MCU. I'm just altering them a bit to bring the Buckynat relationship ideas that I've had to life. After the Civil War chapters, there is a new storyline for Bucky and Natasha, so it won't be in accordance with the MCU events.
Also, the picture I have as my cover was found on Google, so credit goes to whoever made that. I absolutely love it. :)

Endings And New Beginnings
This is a sequel to Red Winter. I didn't plan on writing a sequel but here it is! Again, the events transpire in a timeline where they've restored everything after defeating Thanos and reversing the effects of the snap. This is focused on Natasha, Bucky and Steve only. I have always appreciated the dynamics of Steve and Natasha's relationship even if there is no romance in it. And I often wonder how Natasha and Bucky would interact in the present considering their past. Again, I don't own Marvel and any of its characters. Just like you I daydream what happens between the fades in and fades out, between the end of the movie, its mid-credits scene and end-credit scene. And this is the result, one of the results. It's been almost a month and a half since the destruction of Ultron and the city of Sokovia. No one has heard or seen Iris since. This story is not basd in the marvel universe but it is my take on their characters and relationships outside of it, i hope you enjoy A famous singer stuck in an abusive relationship and all she thinks she needs is a friend. At first it doesnt seem like she will get even that when Bucky Barnes seems to hate her guts. But when all her secrets are revealed, will it drive him further away or lure him closer? Y/n needs help but doesn't know how to ask for it, does Bucky know how to give it?
