Highway to the Abyss

I never thought I would dance with the Devil. I knew it was wrong. Still wrong when He looked me in the eye and told me He hated the soul in His grasp. Never would I think that I agreed. He smirked, He knew I thought the same, felt the same. His long black fingers that could puncture a heart grabbed my cheek, caressed it. It was cold so suddenly. He reached out his right hand, flicked his left. The band began to play. They played a song of darkness, a song of lost souls. They surrounded us, waiting for something to happen. Did they expect their King to be so open to someone else? His smirk fell, that's when I felt the currents course through my body, making the tips of my fingers itch towards His hands. Did He want this? I guess I could dance with Him. What could be the harm? The only thing that scared me was Him.

After the sudden disappearance of Vidi's mom, Vidi has never been the same leaving her heart behind. Growing up on the upper east side of New York, Vidi has been surrounded by snobs and snakes. She has never found a reason to be a good person so at a young age she was dedicated to be the worst of them all.. At the age of 18, Vidi only has one friend, one parent, and one dark past that will lead to a darker future.

But the night of her dad's party changes her future.

Learning that her dad signed away his soul to the devil, Vidi has found a new determination. To get her dad back. Whatever it takes. Even if it comes at the cost between good and evil.
