"The wind is getting stronger.." I mutter under my breath to Bear- as if he can even understand me. There's hair in my mouth but my hands are too numb to move it. I'm wearing a puffy black jacket in April because it is freezing outside. I turn my head to look across the road and notice a girl I've never seen before. My neighbourhood is small and I know everyone. Or, at least I did until this girl showed up. Her hair was pink, like cotton candy skies. It looked like it was as soft as silk. Her eyes were a mixture of blue, green and gold. Before I can even ask for her name, several cars drove past us. And with that, she was gone.
