Remember how Cinderella was locked away, but ended up marrying her prince? And how Snow White was murdered, but lived happily ever after? Not everything is always what it seems. My name is May James. I've been locked away my whole life. I don't know what it's like to have a friend, or a brother or a sister, or a pet, or anything. My life is one big secret. I live here in the big city of New York, but that changes once my father is transferred and we move to North Carolina. I never asked for this at all. I just wanted to stay in one place, live there, grow up, hopefully have a family, and then, die. But lets see if everything changes. And I was right. Everything has changed.
