My Medium Mom
These are true, short stories about my mom encountering ghosts. I believe she is truly a clairvoyant, while she believes she's more sensitive to these encounters. Ghost encounters from her childhood up to more recent encounters are all going to be told. Everything is true, the thing is, will you believe it?
Haunted
The dead typically want one of two things. Ghosts crave conversation. Spirits seek pain. My name is Bria, and I've been able to interact with the dead for as long as I can remember. Communicating with the deceased might sound like a cool gift, but let me assure you, it's not. Ghosts don't shut up, and not all specters are friendly. In fact, most of them are dangerous. Pretending the paranormal doesn't exist is far easier than talking to the shadows, so I've been avoiding the dead for years. Past experiences have led me to avoid the living too. And for a long time, I've successfully kept my distance. Until a single ghost encounter in the library ruins everything. Now a couple of my classmates know my secret. In the small town of Sulphur Oklahoma, Lunette Faye Madison was murdered by her stepmother because she was jealous of her beauty. Lunette was 17 years old. Her spirit lingers with the weeping willow where she was killed. People say on nights the moon is full, you can see her swinging on the old rope swing staring at the night sky. Longing to be set free. 109 years have passed. 17-year-old Phoenix Draco Blakely moves to the same small town. Phoenix wasn't very popular, seeing as he was an Emo kid. People didn't 'get' his sense of style. He loves anything to do with scary and creepy. One day, he was dared to go to the weeping willow at the top of the hill. He accepted the dare, thinking it was right up his alley. When he got to the top, he got fed up thinking it was a lame joke, until she appeared.Complete
