He came for quiet work and open skies. What he found was Brad-and the beast inside him. Aaron doesn't ride bulls or chase spotlight. He works horses, mends fences, and keeps his head low. Every summer, he helps out at the Pine Peak rodeo just another Rodeo fan helping out to be part of the action. But this year, the Tennessee Riders arrive. Brad Mitchell is too calm, too knowing, and far too easy to want. And when he takes an interest in Aaron, something stirs that's deeper than attraction-something wild, sharp-edged, and buried under years of silence. One night changes everything. Aaron wakes up naked and alone in a cellar, the taste of dirt in his mouth and no memory of what happened. Upstairs, four men are waiting-and not all of them are human. Brad says Aaron isn't sick. He's shifting. Changing. Becoming. Now, with the Riders watching his every move and something ancient rising in his blood, Aaron has to face the truth: He's not just falling for Brad. He's falling into a world where instinct runs hotter than reason-and not everyone makes it out alive.
