It's 1989 and Eve has just turned eighteen. After a brutal divorce, Lucy Emerson was granted custody of Sam and Michael. However, Eve was left in the custody of her wealthy and manipulative father. But as of her eighteenth birthday, Eve is finally in the position to make her own choices. Eve's choice is to move to Santa Carla to be with her mother and siblings.

After she arrives, Eve is shocked by a few surprises. While she was aware that her mother had remarried, she wasn't prepared for the extra additions to her family. Four of them go by the names David, Dwayne, Paul, and Marko. The four of them grab hold of Eve's curiosity with a death grip. Despite their enthralling pulls, though, Eve proceeds with caution.

David, Dwayne, Paul, and Marko meet young Eve Emerson. Without an understanding as to why, the four feel a new need. Something primal, that runs deeper than their need for blood.
Soon, a new drive takes over, one that will heal old wounds they never knew they had.
