A 13-year-old girl called Lizzie has to move from the city to her father, John's ranch after her Grandparents go into debt. She has no experience in farms or around horses, but she agrees to go. Her father recently found a wild horse named Eclipse that needed help so they took it in but, it's to wild and can't be broken in. So, Lizzie tries to help and finds her new liking in horses and the ranch and tames Eclipse.
