My Purpose: A Dream...or a Nightmare

Dream has always been a peculiar child.
I mean, if you count talking to endermen, a natural at pvp, a king of agility, having an unknown father, and having frequent, mysterious blackouts, a peculiar thing.
You see, Dream has a suspicion of what he is: a Dreamon. And Dreamon's are feared and hated by society...but something just doesn't add up. If he's a Dreamon, shouldn't he be...worse?
Whatever the case, Dream has bigger problems at hand at the moment: both his parents are leaving.
Now in charge of the family, Dream must take on the responsibilities to support them. He decides his weird skills could be used in the King's royal games: Minecraft Championship and Minecraft Manhunt.
Dream easily becomes a fan favorite with all his plays, and he's living his dream. Even when he's turned into the King's own pet assassin.
But, like always, good things don't last.
Dream's fears of being found as a monster heighten as he's followed by a mysterious fox man. And a similar mysterious group called the Ram Horns start popping up all around him.
He doesn't know what's going on, but it gets worse when he gets visions - nightmares - of a strange creature, lurking in his conscience.
Secrets unravel, questions unfurl, panic erupts, and a silence amongst chaos.
Dream's world gets flipped inside out as two sides battle over control of him - and each side sees a different destiny for him.
Dream must now question his existence - literally - on a question he's always wanted answers to:
Who is he?
But most importantly...
What... is he.

Some of his once-loyal citizens have attempted to leave his land and start their own kingdom, called L'Manberg. King Dream won't stand for this. A/N: This is based upon the Great Dream SMP War. I wrote it as if the war took place in a real (fictional) universe where Minecraft physics are the norm. It won't be all blocks, but you get my idea. Not necessarily. Tommy has trouble keeping irl friends, because everyone thinks he's a liar, and nobody likes a liar. His only friends live thousands of miles away, and have no idea about his abilities. They just think he's a normal post-teen. Not even Tommy's adoptive family knows about it. i hear footsteps behind me. i try to get up but struggle to because of the wound in my side. i shift my body to see Technoblade walking towards me. "Techno i'm fine, really." i say, frustrated. he doesn't respond, instead, he kneels beside me and looks at my wounds. he lifts up my shirt to show the stab wound on my side, blood spilling from it. "who did it?" he asks. "what-" "who stabbed you?" he asks, anger lingering in his voice. "why does it matter?" "just tell me." he asks, anger being replaced with eagerness. "Schlatt." i mumble. the pain in my side increases by the second. Technoblade looks up from me, to Schlatt, who holds a sword with my blood dripping off of it. Technoblade stands up from beside me, and approaches Schlatt, drawing his axe. "what's wrong Techno? i was doing you a favor. it's not like you even liked her in the first place." Schlatt said, smiling. Hello! So before we start this is 100% going to have Blood Death Mentions of injury and cussing it mAy have Angst and ships but its a may. So in this AU everybody has some sort of power and a power source! Dream's mask gives him strength but he loses a bit of sanity. After he stops he gets weakness George's glasses (he has to be wearing them on his eyes) let's him see some of the future but it's limited. After he's done he has a headache. Pain depends on how long he goes into the future Sapnap's headband gives him speed 2 but he can't control how long it is. After 2 minutes he gets slowness 2. Bad's hood gives him flight but he can't go that fast. After he's done he can only jump a slab. So the 4 are just playing a casual manhunt with no powers as Dream stated in the rules. Though while Dream was winning again and George, being a dummy, used his powers! Then well... You'll read the rest! Cya luvs!Complete
