Nine, a girl born in the Hawkins Lab, who never knew her parents. The only person she had was Papa or as others called him Dr. Brenner.
Recently, she has ran away from the lab. Trying to run away from her life. And when running away she met Joyce, Hopper and Eleven. Surprisingly she already knew Eleven, they used to live at the lab together. They would do experiments together because they had similar powers.
Besides reconnecting with her sister. She also met Eleven's group of friends. And in that group, Nine grew a strong liking to a certain boy: Will.
He's the only person that understands her and she's the only person that understands him. They both know what's like to feel alone and scared. Making them become close and maybe even a little more than friends.
