Emma feels different. Besides from her mom leaving her family and her brother dying when she needed him most, she's never felt more out of place. It's almost like her skin doesn't belong to her anymore. She turns to everyone for an answer, why her mind is painted watercolor circles and swatches and flicks, but her body is blank. One after another thing happens, and she starts to question, "Is he still here..? Or am I the one bringing him to me?"

A/N: I originally wanted this to be a story about the journey of a young transgender teen, but I've changed it to be on the paranormal side. Throughout the story she will be trying to communicate and connect with the other side of life itself. I thought this would be a way more interesting and complex topic, though I may slip a few hints at some nonbinary action ;] but you won't know until you read it. Once you do more of the summary will make sense😅. Have fun and I hope you enjoy!
