Rebecca stared at her cousin, "Me? In a team?"

A smile answered her, "They officially meet Tomorrow. What do you say?"

Closing her eyes she thought for a moment before she straightened her shoulders and met that blue gaze head on, "I'm a Canary. When the world screams at you, you scream back. Harder. Stronger." Letting her own smile curl on her face she nodded, "Yes."

Rebecca has been the Blue Canary, protégé to Black Canary, for more than two years now and like all her fellow young heroes she's itching to do more. To prove herself. When given the chance this team of young heroes will take the world by storm and create a blazing trail that will influence society and subsequent generations of Heroes for years to come.

But in a world where growing up includes teenage hormones and fighting supervillains it isn't easy to keep your head on straight. Rebecca has to find out who she is and who she wants to be in a world where secrets and secret crushes are as equally heavy to keep and where being a Hero isn't all just glory. 

To be the Hero she is meant to be Rebecca will have to look into her past to figure out her present and work towards a greater future.
