Clove's father turns abusive when her mother dies and when Cato finds out about that, he starts being even more protective of her, and their trainer, the famous Enobaria, finds out about Clove being abused and takes Clove in, and treats her like she is her daughter. Everyone thinks they just want the glory, and they want to make their district proud, but in their case it's not true. They have to volunteer, for different reasons. And as they grow closer and start to catch feelings, everything starts going downhill. But there is no going back, they have to get through it together now. This is a fanfic about Clove Kentwell and Cato Hadley, from the hunger games. The main characters belong to Suzanne Collins, but the story is different than in the original books and moovies.
