-"please don't marry him" Loki said to the dark headed girl in front of him.
-"why?"- She looked at him- "give me a reason... and I'm Loki Lauyfeson doesn't count"-
He looked at her-"because you don't want to"-
-"not good enough"- She sighed whilst trying to hold back the tears threatening to roll down by biting her lip.
-"because I don't want you to"- he said.
-"it's not enough"- She could feel her eyes crystalize, gods she hated for him to see her vulnerable.
He sighed before passing his hand over his hair- "what else is there?"- he looked into her dark brown eyes.
-"the true reason why I should stay right where I am... and not get inside and say 'I do'... 3 words, 8 letters... say it and I'm yours"- She said firmly whilst not breaking eye contact.
"I..." he started to say - "I..."- he looked down.
A tear slipped down her face- "thank you... that's all I needed to hear"- She wiped the tear that was rolling down her cheek and walked away, how could she be so stupid to believe he would say it to her after all this time? after everything.

"Father?" The King's young daughter slips through the partly open door of her father's chambers. "Father!" She whispers again, a note of urgency evident in her sweet voice. He hears her this time. She sniffs, and whispers, "In a minute." After King Loki's wife was murdered three days after giving birth to their daughter, Loki must face the challenges of raising a daughter whilst dealing with his own grief.
