He lived in an orphanage before this and the moment he finished high school and was allowed leave the orphanage, he left for university. While still at the orphanage, he got a scholarship to Crestview university in video and photography, so that was where he went the moment he was free.

When he did turn 18, the orphanage told him his parents had left him their will, so at least he had some money.
