Hera was a super soldier back when Steve and Bucky where. But Steve or Bucky knew about her until now. Hera kept her Hydra past in the past and wants to move forward from it. Until now. She freed herself from Hydra and is finally free from it after she went to the Avengers. None of the Avengers knew about it, except for Wanda and Tony. But now that will all change.
