Alex and Cassandra have been abducted overnight. They possess a variant in their HMGA2 gene, titling them valuable to The Chambers. Alex's brother is the leader of the Pedelian team and manages 3 of 14 stages in the experiments.  Cassandra's mother is a guard, her father is the Master.  Cassandra's brother, Tommy, had been a lieutenant of the Pedelian team, forcefully turning against her from orders of the Master.

They will have to work together and combine their high intelligence to escape the hellhole. If not, both of them shall be led to a pitiful demise.
