Ariel is the adopted daughter of Tommy Oliver. She was adopted after her father died in an accident. One day Tommy tells her that her dad got lost in an accident. She starts to think that her dad is dead but he is not dead. One day while fighting Zeltrax Ariel sees something in Zeltrax and dosen't attack. When the others ask about it she tells them that something must have happened to her. After destroying Zeltrax Ariel finds out that her dad is not actually dead, he's still alive. Jason hears her singing a song that he used to sing to her. After that Ariel meets her real dad and decides to go live with him.All Rights Reserved

Months later, Lydia moved on from Oliver and found someone who loved her, but then he passed away and Lydia couldn't take much more pain, so she dropped out of MIT and went to law school with Laurel. During her studies, on the outside Lydia showed a fake smile around people, but on the inside she was struggling with her emotions. Laurel had to step up because she knew her sister was hurting and one day Laurel saved her sister from killing herself. Jayden is not sure about it at first but then he ended up helping his team and best friend. Jayden gets into an argument about him leaving the team with Lauren when she returns and Lauren gets into an argument with Ariel about being the red ranger. They compete against each other to determine who would be the red ranger. Ariel finally becomes the leader after Jayden leaves. Then when the rest of the rangers leave Ariel and her friends become the new team of power rangers.

She started to think that she was the only one that survived from her team. She looks for a way to get to the fortress and tried to save them but was only able to save most of them. She goes back to the place where they were and found the ones that she thought that she didn't save and took them back to the headquarters. Then Ariel helped them to improve on their skills and to turn into their mythical creature forms when they needed to. Then she led them in a final battle.
