In the sunny roads of California, 17 year old, Missy Dawlen, lives a perfectly normal life. Despite spending a few years in a depressive state, she fully recovered and is enjoying every moment of life.
That is until, August 23rd where her whole life gets turned upside in the outbreak of a mutation in millions of dead bodies, except they aren't dead anymore.
Missy is forced to fight for her survival, accompanied by useless and slightly annoying Thomas, will the young naive teenagers be able to survive in an apocalyptic or will they get torn apart like the rest of Missy's family?

Burning Love in the Apocalypse
18+ Mature Story Dani Quinn's life changed forever from being a college student to being a survivor in the zombie apocalypse. Facing betrayal and trauma, she found herself alone, hurt, and still holding out hope she could make it home to find her family. She is later saved by a group of strangers after an injury, but trusting them would not be easy. Being forced to recover in their care, she begins to see that their kindness is not just an act. Slowly starting to trust again, Dani begins to open herself up to the groups leader, Luke. But the more she cared for them, the more she started to fear the possibility of losing them.
