California was for those who wanted to escape, live a life they dreamed of. Vivian knows that who she is there is not who she is back home. And she is ok with that. She wishes she could live life in the fast lane, but her past keeps her grounded.
Harry lives the fast life. People see his life of being the co-owner of SickBeats as one that can only be described as a fever dream. And what they don't know about his life would make them fear him as a person and not just as a businessman. Harry was the darkness that lurked in your nightmares. And the Shadows followed wherever he went.
Seeing something that is supposed to stay a secret and knowing that secret can be deadly. After Vivian interrupts Harry's meeting, she learns why he warned her of him.
