Clove Madden was a freshman going into Eden Hall. Her brother's best friends Rick Riley, Scooter, And Cole were all on the varsity hockey team waiting for her to join. Clove's brother wasn't a big hockey player, but she was and everyone in that school knew her name and went to her games. Now she's supposed to play hockey on the JV team because her dad isn't allowing her to play on Varsity. What happens when Clove meets a boy from the duck's team and he gets put up in varsity? What happens when the varsity team starts to mess with everyone but her? Will she get moved up to the Varsity team? Or will she stay on the JV team with a bunch of people she doesn't like?
