No one ever knows the whole story... Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever - or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. ----- The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series. New chapters will be posted on Fridays for as long as it takes to tell the whole story. For Wattpad only, chapters are split up by individual scenes-if you would prefer the whole chapters in single pieces, please visit my homepage or another site where I post this story, thanks! What if you discovered a world like no other, but knew no way back? And yet, the only way to stay- and survive- was by leaving your past self behind, body and mind? From a small town on the panhandle of Florida, Kylie and Celeste are two fraternal twins tired of being bullied; Beatrice is an embittered fourteen-year-old dissatisfied with her home life; and Mina is a young, yet astute girl determined to uncover a family mystery long forgotten... The four girls, whose paths would have never crossed, find themselves in the midst of a mysterious railroad tunnel. With an inkling for adventure, they enter, only to emerge in a world straight out of a fantasy novel, a country called Alysia. It isn't long, however, before they find themselves in the middle of a decades-long Civil War between the forces of Heaven- Arcadia- and Hell- Abaddonia... and realize that going home isn't going to be as simple as they believe. The road home would be more than just a yellow brick road traversed in ruby slippers; in order to survive, they will have to grow up- in more ways than just one. With no other choice, each finds herself wrapped up in the adventure of a lifetime as, together, they fight to stay true to themselves. For Kylie, Celeste, Beatrice, and Mina, it would indeed be a while before they could ever turn back. A/N: Thank you to everyone who checks out my story. I hope that you enjoy following these girls as they go through each of their own journeys. ~Cover design by me~

'You call this fate' has won: 1st place in BLUE ROSE AWARDS 2017 (Action) 1st place in THE PURPLE APPLE AWARDS 2017 (General fiction) The One and Only Award in the RARITY AWARDS (General fiction) 3rd place in THE PUPPET AWARDS 2017 (that was when my genre was mystery/thriller. I believe general fiction fits my story better) Zara Mahal, a girl adrift from her motherland, a virtual exile amongst strangers, was no dreamer. She saw the ugliness in the world with clear eyes, heard it's screams and cries with open ears. She knew, and yet she dared to imagine a new life...but when is it that the past leaves you behind? When is it that the hungry demons from yesterday bid you adieu with a fare-thee-well? It doesn't happen, not today, not here, and most certainly not with her. She's being chased, by the demons within and the demons without...and she sees no way through. Yet...her snarky, rude, more-amicable-dead-than-alive boss seems to know something. Something he won't tell her about. Something that threatens to rock her world and throw her to the ground till her bones break and her head splits. No, I tell you...Zara Mahal knows the tears behind a happy life. But when her friend gets killed, and she's thrown into a whirlpool of shadowed faces and pulsing darkness, only Alexander Rodwell seems to know how to pull her out. The problem? He's the one pushing her in. P.S. the amazing cover is made by @mebekamil... go ahead and check out the rest of her works!

Not everything is what it seems, some things in life need to be looked at more then once. This is something that Winter has to learn. Not everything you know, is true, and at the same time things you don't believe in, they may not be a lie. Winter never believed in the Petunia's families story, she didn't believe the 'ice age' was coming to a close, or that the land had once been free of the snow that seemed to cover it's surface. She feels her life has became out of control when she has to start working with Spring Petunia, who won't leave her alone about an object. Will she join them? Or will her past be the reason she doesn't have a future?
