Change is sweeping through the world, as humanity fights for autonomy, discord tears apart the foundations of the vampire order, and dhampirs return to the world after centuries of war between two powerful peoples. Dhampirs, creatures known to herald destruction and chaos open an age old wound and reveal the origins of the conflict between vampires and mages that has raged so long few remember.

Within that conflict, Neil struggles to raise his children with Silvia as well as grasp the threads of his past as he sees his family into a new future. When Nicholas Arc shows up unexpectedly in his old territory, it foreshadows the conflict to come, and new allies as well as old foes crawl out of the seams to take sides with or against the new dhampir children.

All the while, Jesse Zehir finds himself sheltered by the Fleurs, trying to manage human demon relations, but also captured by the human liaison who might be more than she seems. Just as he is finding a home for himself, the Fleur councilman shows up and Jesse is forced into a difficult position between the vampires who took him in and the people he cares about.

Peace is harder to achieve than first thought, and not all is what it claims to be under the surface of the budding new world. Can Neil and Silvia find a balance that will preserve the known world and protect their children? Will the affection of those who fight for peace conquer an age old divide between creatures of light and darkness before it rips the fabric of reality itself?

The dead rise, and the very fabric of reality rests in the balance in this final installment of the Dusk Series!

*This is not your typical romance. My characters are deliciously wicked anD unrepentant. This book features very mature content that includes sex with dubious consent. If this offends you don't read it. This is my 1st book on Wattpad!* Kayla thought she'd lost him......she needed to get help for her friend. As the screen lit up she felt fingers grab her roughly by the neck. She cried out softly, as she realized her stupidity, and whispered, "Please, don't hurt me." Lucas looked down coldly and whispered, "I will." With those ominous words her world went black. Now Nah'Bye is on their list of planets to add to their growing dominance and they are all set to use 'peaceful methods'. In this world where Lucas uses all means necessary to get what he wants; he will change Kayla's life, turning her world upside down. Does Kayla fully understand the danger she is placing herself in.....leaving her safe life on Nah'Bye to come to The Academy?
