We take our loved ones for granted everyday. We don't think about what our last words will be, what our loved one's last words will be. We breathe too easily. The fight you had with your mom could be the last time you interact with her. The last conversation you had with your dad could be too. Should you have ripped the last cookie from your younger sibling's hand? Or should you have let them have it? Maybe you should have called your girlfriend or boyfriend back.
Maybe death is upon us more than we think.
But why would we care when we have our whole life ahead of us? When we will wake up tomorrow to another ordinary day. We'll get in a car and drive to work without a second thought about maybe getting into a car accident. Party too hard and not worry about dying of alcohol poisoning. Take a bath without the anxiety of drowning.
