Nia is 17 years old and is a senior in high school., she's mostly bored with her life and is lonely and has no friends, she wishes that something would happen so that she could feel like she was meant to do something in life until she finds a video tape of her mom in a rock band , although she is surprised at the same time she is entranced by the music and feels a connection to them, she ends up falling asleep from looking through most of the tapes but then she wakes up in another persons body in the 1980s as a teenager who could it be? She has to figure out why she is in this persons body and why she alternates bodies between all of the people in her mothers rock band also why are they keeping secrets, another thing is that she tries not to get attached to one of the guys in the band who she knows will never know of her.
