Ameena is a girl in a post-apocalyptic world that has been going on for over a month now. She is accompanied by her three companions named Kenny, Ava and Maddy. Everything isn't genuine, as you'll soon discover. It's all part of a simulation. The group must navigate their way out of the simulation alive while making friends and enemies along the way. They discover things they wish they never did, and events that they will never forget. Throughout the book, ties are broken and bonds are formed. Stories unfold as the days pass by, as each day grows closer to the inevitable.
