One hundred years after the First World War, conflicts are no longer fought in the trenches with guns and tanks. The battles of the twenty-first century will be wars of words waged in the media and the rewards will be public opinion.

When Metropol Industries threatens to produce a documentary that calls into question Britain's attack on a Middle Eastern country, the Government is not amused. A war breaks out between Metropol Industries' unscrupulous owner, Peter Carter, and Downing Street's borderline-satanic Press Secretary, Andrew Burns. Both heavyweight public figures are willing to use every trick in their media arsenals to discredit and destroy the other. When two such tyrants collide, no one can truly win, but there can be plenty of losers caught in the middle.

Two such 'media pawns' are Peter's ex employees Belle Warren and Karen Wren, who came up with the damaging documentary in the first place. Andrew wants to silence them. Peter wants them to help him utilise this situation to elevate his public standing. Will they really be able to make sure the truth is ever told?All Rights Reserved

Ewan Lane has recently been on a business trip abroad and is on his way back home to England, he meets Jessica Lawson as they sit next to each other on the plane. Jessica is moving back to her home country of England after living abroad for work for a little while. The plane has some major issues and ultimately ends up crash landing, killing all but a few passengers. Ewan and Jessica, along with the other surviving passengers have to survive (with injuries) on a remote island with hope of anyone coming to their rescue. After some days stranded on the island, they are finally found and rescued. Ewan is able to reunite with his wife and their 5 year old son, and returns to work after a few weeks to learn that he's received a promotion, and that includes a new assistant.. Jessica Lawson. It isn't long until Ewan and Jessica have a drunken one-night stand, which they try to put behind them. With Jessica being single, and Ewan being in a marriage which is seriously struggling after a tragic event, the two find themselves attracted to each other and can't keep their eyes or hands off each other.. or their clothes on as they embark on a passionate affair. With many things threatening to ruin Ewan's life one way or another, he must figure out what to do, stay with his wife and work on their marriage, or choose life with Jessica, risking losing the one person who he dotes on, his son. What will he do?

However, when the improbably-named Detective Peter Piccolo moves into the house next to Rob, something definitely appears amiss. Is this the most surreal police sting ever contrived, or is it just an enormous coincidence for Rob and Lisa? Is Piccolo trying to be their friend, carry out some sort of undercover surveillance, or is he just an even bigger monster than the two of them combined? Either way, the brooding copper is a massive spanner in their works and something will have to be done if Rob and Lisa are going to literally lay the pasts to rest and move on with their lives.

As Mal spirals deeper and deeper into loopholes, her older brothers are the keepers of her safety, and they decide to elimate Ben from the problems. When Ben gets even more angry, the press catch him trying to kill his girlfriend, and everything changes. Ben gets put into jail, and then the problem gets overlooked, until Ben makes a comeback, determined to destroy the cause of his problems, once and for all.

Will she be able to keep her apron on through the flying bullets and advances of one especially sexy landlord? She sure hopes so.
