Summer is a time for freedom. It's everything good and everything magical. At least that's what Sadie tells herself. Sadie Jane Philips wants to make the summer before senior year a special one. And as fate has it, an opportunity comes to do just that. An audition for the Houston Youth Dance Team. The only thing standing in her way is her chronic clumsiness and oversleeping. Oh and a British asshole with a charming smile who thinks he's god's gift. The only way she can make it on the team is to team up with said asshole. Add in a genius twin brother, a young mentor, and a jealous blonde. Join Sadie and her aunt/best friend Aedon Vera in their journey of dance, teamwork, and self love.

Ever since Sadie was a child, she's wanted to be a dancer. It's too bad that almost everyone in her dance class at school can't dance, and it doesn't help that her enemy since preschool is in the class with her, and he can dance almost better than she can. To make things worse, her new English teacher just so happens to be Ethan Deveraux, someone who had tortured her all throughout their childhood until he left for college. Things seem to pick right back up from where they left off nearly six years before until both of them realize how much the other has changed. They're no longer children, and the two of them are about to find out what that really means.
