Dean, Sam, and Castiel were trying to enjoy a nice day, when things go terribly wrong. There's been news of unusual deaths going on everywhere, and the boys are tired. When things just continue to get worse, they collide worlds with Rick Grimes. Untrusting but loyal to the boys, Rick will do anything he has to do to protect his family. But, so will the boys. Can the lives of two incredibly different groups work together, or will mistakes get everyone they love killed?
*These events are based on seasons 1-5 of TWD. The events in this story are not based off of any particular seasons of Supernatural, but the way I imagine it is after Supernatural the show ends, so they're just hunting and living their lives. The reason I did this is because I love the boys' character development in later seasons.*

This story is about Dean Winchester saving people. I got this idea from a dream. Dean was put in the job to save people after his mom died. Just his dad knows that he is the hero. he starts losing everyone else as the job filds his life more and more. Sam hates him because he feels like Dean doesn't care about him. Cas is also distant. Dean has always had a big crush on Cas. But he believes Cas couldn't like him anyway, at least not now. his life is getting more misreabale by the time that passes. he just wants everything to end. this is a rewriting of the original but its so much better and has more stuff so its so worth reading:)Complete

Dean's sitting at the kitchen table with Sam when his phone rings. Jody's name flashes across the screen and he considers not picking up, but Sam's there, and he'd start asking questions if he left the call alone. It's not like Dean doesn't want to talk to Jody, it's just that he can't bear talking to anyone these days. "Hi, Jody," Sam says. "Howdy, boys." She greets them and begins talking about a case she's asking them to take over. Dean doubts they will, Sam hasn't let him pick up a gun or knife in months, not since their last hunt. Jody's voice cuts through the phone. "Alright, if you boys don't wanna take the case, I'll see if Castiel will, but I think he's helping Claire in Colorado-" Dean doesn't hear a damn thing after that, and by the looks of it, Sam doesn't either. For the first time in days, Dean opens his mouth and speaks. "Cas is alive?" Jody's voice is quiet on the other end. "He didn't tell you?" Cas is alive, and Dean is figuring out what he should do about that when they learn Cas's accidental jailbreak broke The Empty, letting out most of its occupants. John works as a mechanic full time with his son Dean, who works part time. Mary works at a hospital as a nurse and Sam works at a library stacking shelfs. Castiel and Gabriel on the other hand had it good with their sexuality. Everyone at school was very accepting with their sexuality. They never got picked on and their dad, Chuck, and brothers were very accepting even if they came from a religious family. Dean became a selective mute after when of his old classmates threatened him, saying if he every talks again he would hurt his family. He has never talked to anyone since he was 14 years old only to his little brother a couple of times. Dean only communicates with his family by using sign language. Sam has always been shy with people and always wanted to be alone and only talked to people he trusted. Castiel works at a coffee shop, he also helps out at his older brothers, Lucifer and Michaels new family diner. Gabriel works at a candy store shop and also helps out at the diner.
