If Thor and the rest of the Norse gods are real, why can't that also mean other deities are real?

Meet Alexia, goddess of War and defender of men, daughter of Athena and granddaughter of Zeus. The ancient goddess' interest is piqued when Thor begins helping mankind with the Avengers. It has Alexia wanting to get back to her roots and do the same. Leaving her companion she seeks out the Avengers to work with them, wanting to get know the Norse god as well as a certain super soldier with a metal arm.

Bucky and Alexia's introduction is... interesting to say the least. Nevertheless his interest is peaked by the mysterious beauty who's sudden appearance has him finally putting himself out there. In his attempt to catch her attention Bucky feels like he can't even get a word in, let alone spend any time getting to know the powerful woman with everyone else in his way. That is until he's injured and Alexia risks her immortal life to save his. Once healed he vows to tell her how he truly feels. Can Bucky keep up with her or will he be left trying to play catch-up?
