Growing up in sleepy suburban towns have perks, but there's always something terrible bubbling beneath the surface. Story Description: 1. The Husband - Your husband has been acting a little strange lately at night. 2. The Neighbor - Your quiet home life suddenly gets really uncomfortable when you realize your elderly neighbor has been watching you through his window. 3. Public Restroom - You look back at your childhood to figure out where your fear of public restrooms came from. 4. The Screaming Woman (Pt. 1 & 2) - You wake up abruptly to sounds of a woman screaming only to be faced with your worst nightmare. 5. The People Upstairs - Your upstairs neighbors are loud and obnoxious without any regard to you. You become fed up with them until you realize what they've been dealing with. Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. She had known him for 14 years, been in love with him for 4 years and dated him for 4 months. Everything about them has always been 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯. She was just the daughter of the dead butler and he was the billionaire heir. Love blooming in the forbidden lands doesn't survive easily, everything in the surrounding is poisonous, ambushing to crush it down.
