Until Scott Lang showed up and suggested they ruin it all by going back in time to reverse the blip. After the war is over, it leaves Tony without an arm and more issues on his plate.

Tony was like a father to him, and he didn't want to lose the man he always looked up to. So he decided to start writing letters to Tony.
