I just need to think.” I think he cried. I’m not sure because I was too busy looking down at my feet. I didn’t even look up when he stopped at the door.
He said, “Megan-Joy, I love you. It killed me to be so far away from you. It killed me to know that you weren’t with me. It hurt more than you even know. But maybe you do.”
