In this Au Sam is a barista  working at a local coffee shop, but his life is about to take a wide turn after a man takes him as a 'Hostage'. Sam can't help but feel Like he needs to stay with Bucky. Could this be a Fraud unfair works of justice  or maybe this could turn into a cold case of murder.  How will they deal with the court. Will they get out? Pled guilty?  Or will they live the rest of there lives on the run?

James Buchanan Barnes, Bucky for short, has been struggling with finding his identity and healing without Steve Rogers, six months after they rectified the Blip in what the world now calls The Infinity Wars. He is now working with Sam Wilson on a new case involving the group the Flag Smashers. When Sam invites Bucky to a small gathering for a fish fry when they first reconnect, Bucky gives in despite his frustrations and wanting not to. Sam had three simple rules, one was "Don't flirt with my sister. Any family really is off limits..." But Bucky may have to break that rule, and already betray his new friend. Bucky enjoys the gathering and connects with others. When he meets Nadzia Rex he hits it off with her faster than he thought he would. He even tried to forget her after their first intimate encounter and goes on a date with a waitress when home in Brooklyn. But the two keep in touch and he finds himself constantly returning to De La Croix, Louisiana to do more than check in with Sam Wilson. The question then becomes is this just a fling or something more? This fanfiction will have romance, Bucky Barnes fluff, Sam Wilson Fluff (briefly), found family, healing and acceptance. It is Bucky and an Original character who is purely human. (This takes place during The Falcon and The Winter Soldier after episode two entitled The Star Spangled Man. I am planning a series of stories where it'll be pure Bucky Fluff and him finding himself and happiness that leads to the more adjusted Congressman Barnes in Thunderbolts. Will have some spice, but not vulgar.)
