A year has passed since Seren Marzena returned to the Night Court with her mate, Azriel. Their time of rest is coming to an end. Plans long kept silent are now being enacted. All across Prythian, threats are revealing themselves. The three Mortal Queens have returned and pledged their allegiance to Koschei, an ancient god who is determined to see Prythian crumble beneath him. Old allies are becoming new enemies as Koschei's influence spreads. He and the Queens must be defeated before they locate Prythian's most powerful artifacts. Time is running out for everyone. If the Courts cannot band together and summon their remaining allies in time, all will be lost. Seren isn't willing to see that happen, and she will do whatever she can to aid her family in their fight to save Prythian. Ash is an outcast. Even in the new world her parents and their friends have built she still manages to stand out, and not in a good way. She's never felt like she belonged, not when her siblings are more impressive when it comes to magic, swordplay, and knowledge. She's always had a love for the arts, especially music and dance. But there's the Gateway. With her seventeenth birthday approaching, she could go to the other world without her parents weighing her down. She could explore and learn more about herself in this other world, and a world full of promise. So when she finds herself face to face with someone she never expected to meet, will she fight to stay at their side. Even when the universe dares to tear them apart with the approaching doom, will Ash fight for the one she loves? After all, she's a Galathynius and a Whitethorn. If her parents could survive a war of their own, can't she do the same? #3 in throneofglass - 5 May 2020 #10 in ACOTAR - 24 April, 2020 Sequel to Fae of Fire and Night, my TOG and ACOTAR crossover fanfic.
