Not long after Killua and Gon part ways, news of Gon's supposed death spreads around like a wildfire ablaze. An unspoken depression settles over the group of friends. With little contact towards one another, the three friends go their separate ways after Gon's funeral. It becomes abndantly clear to each of them that Gon was the backbone of the group, the glue, keeping ther paths together.
