Liars and Sinners

As Samaira sat there inside the interrogation room, hands cuffed to the table, she cursed the world for dealing her a bad set of luck.

"I'm giving you a choice here, Ms.Hart. Take the deal or rot in prison for the next 3 years of your life.", the overly-confident detective that sat before me said. Oh how much she would give to punch that smug smile off of his stupid face.

But despite his words, Samaira knew she had no choice but to accept the deal. No matter how dangerous it was, it was better than wasting her life in a jail cell. So she agreed.

"Ugh, fine.", already regretting it as soon as the words left her lips. She reached for the pen and signed her name on the contract.

But little did she know that she was signing away more than what she had bargained for.
