Mae is a 16 year old girl just trying to live a normal life. However, her childhood friend Kei keeps on bothering her and clinging onto her like some child. He promises to marry her someday, but she keeps on rejecting him. Mae ignores him until one day, another girl comes along and "steals" Kei from her. Kei starts to lose the feelings that he had for Mae and start to hang out with the other girl more often. Mae didn't notice how much he meant to her until he was gone. To make things more complicated, Kei's older brother, Hajime, had also had a crush on Mae since they were younger. However, trouble starts to stir when Kurumi, a previous classmate of Mae and Yuri, joins the plot. Little by little, things start to spiral down for both Mae and Yuri.
