Sugawara Koshi, Karasuno third-year, is captain of the school's boys volleyball team. He and Azumane Asahi are the only third-years in the club, so managing the club can be very stressful, especially with the new rowdy first-years.
Sugawara was doing an assignment with one of Asahi's friends, so he offered to give Suga their number. Only, what the boys didn't know is that Asahi had accidentally given Suga the wrong number.

Sawamura Daichi, Aoba Joshai third-year and member of the school boys volleyball team, is out with some volleyball friends when he receives a message from an unknown number. After a little thought (and persuasion from Oikawa and Hanamaki), Daichi decides to reply...
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."

Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
