In the distant future, humans have entered interstellar expansion.
The many life forms they encountered during their journey, were not always friendly.
Wars between the other life forms always took place during those times, be it for territory or resources or for any other reasons. And eventually their planet also became targets to these wars.
The war was devastating and horrible. Many lives were lost and many civilizations had gone extinct.
After decades of war, everyone got fed up with all the senseless killing. They all realised that if they continued this war, no one will be left in this universe.
A grand peace negotiation took place, and many representatives of the different races came to sign it.
Decades later, a united organization of all the races present in the universe was formed called, ''The Universal Planetary Alliance '' . Its job was to ensure that the universe was safe, peace was maintained and people could live happy lives.
But peace could never last long...
As time went by, crimes also thrived.
Some were so big that local law enforcements could not handle them.
On seeing this, the alliance decided that on every galaxy, an organization was to be established. These organization were established to solve and neutralize the crimes that local law enforcements could not.
Now, a new squad was formed in the ''Milky Way Galaxy Crime Investigation Department. '' or the MWGCID in short.
Well the only problem with the squad is that, it is a ''Mismatched'' squad.
'' We have an ex-drug dealer, A mute assassin, a super soldier, a mad scientist and a cop...Well! what could go wrong. ''

A story about superheroes in a modern world. Once, humans and power wielders were at war. The war brought both side to the brink of destruction, forcing peace or extinction. A tentative peace prevailed for a time. Enough to build trust between the two sides for many years. But as the two sides grew together some of the old hatreds began to stir again. Those who held these old hatreds became known as villains, while those who fought them became known as heroes. "Are you sure this will work?" one of the figures around the table ask. All are dressed in black and hide their faces. No one wants to be known to anyone else in 'this' type of alliance. "I'm certain of it. We need to simply kill the few true heroes left, and then expose the rest for the self righteous corrupt creatures they are. I've already started gathering the pieces I need." "What's the end goal here?" a third figure asks. "To purge the world of corruption and all those who turn a blind eye to it." There is a long silence before a fourth voice speaks out. BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.Complete
