"I will marry whoever will receive this ring." The young Kosair said as he threw the golden ring engraved with his name Kosair and a small figure next to it was a phoenix. The king just shook his head. "Are you sure that the ring WILL be received by somebody? You just threw it in the middle of the Pacific ocean" Kosair looked at his father. "It will be destiny." He turned back at the scenery. "If you and mother had been tied together by this 'destiny' then it will happen to me as well." Kosair Kaulos is a prince and the second heir to the throne of the kingdom of Kaulos. He never believed in destiny but what happens when he will believe in destiny just to get out of an arranged marriage?

Forced into a marriage to save her family's failing business, Shaina Villareal never imagined she'd be bound to a man she had never met. Cloud Whitley-the elusive heir to a powerful empire-is feared to be hideous, a recluse who refuses to show his face in public. But when she finally meets him, the truth is even more unsettling. Cold. Unreadable. Dangerously handsome. As she struggles to navigate a marriage built on nothing but obligation, her half-sister, Sofia, openly admires the man she was forced to wed-waiting for the perfect moment to take what isn't hers. But Cloud has his own secrets, ones that could change everything. A marriage of convenience. A husband she can't understand. And a sister who wants him for herself. Shaina's life is no longer her own-and the stranger she married might be the biggest mystery of all.
