Abbey Frost is a girl dealing with  a lot of changes. she is dealing with her new found powers, difficult twin brother, demanding mother and a father that is never there. She does the only thing that she can do to deal with her problems. fight back! she causes her mother mountains of stress rebels against anything.
Her mother is fed up and sending her to a new school. which is no surprise for Abbey she has been expelled from four schools. but this school is different. it's a boarding school but just any boarding school, it's for people like Abbey. supernatural beings, creatures or whatever Abbey can think of ....freaks? and is she one of them?. 
Abbey refuses but will she able to handle it or go through that roller coaster ride? or is her true colors gonna be shown?

Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted.
