[The first chapter of the Fallen Angel Saga.] In this Gothic inspired and Dark world, urban legends like Bigfoot, Mothman and more exist. They are known as "Cryptids". these deadly creatures are unpredictable in nature. To combat these monsters of the night the world made a new branch called the "Cryptid Hunter Agency", or, C.H.A. originally founded by the first legendary monster hunter. Dayvawn Jonathan Mclark is your average Nobody college student. but one night, his life was turned around due to demonic intruders. He was attacked by two Black-Eyed Children. Due to the monster's DNA accidentally connecting to Dayvawn's bloodstream, He is now suddenly half-Cryptid. Kidnapped by the government, He was given two options: fight for them against other unknown monsters or die. The decision was easy, Dayvawn's new goal is to slay the creatures that dare harm humans. Will Dayvawn be successful in slaying the monsters, or will his half-Cryptid DNA take over his humanity? ⚠️Story is marked mature due to: extreme violence and death, limbs being cut off and language.⚠️ _________________________________________ This is an updated story, since I didn't like the original draft. In this world, much of the wilderness is still untouched. It holds bizarre and sometimes dangerous secrets. Some groups have managed to create small communities like towns and camps with running water. Meanwhile, those with the resources and connections have built massive modern cities with towering buildings. Our characters will have to navigate that world. My first story, it's gonna suck. So like...tell me if I get stuff wrong- or something lol!?!?1 CC might be out of character, but I tried to match it to how others wrote him. (Y/n...detective Y/n to be precise. They took it upon themselves to solve the many missing people cases that were stacked on the "closed" cases. The ones that particularly struck her as er...interesting were ones of groups of friends going missing simultaneously. All the questions they had but no answers. Of course, they had to find out. Even if it meant putting their life on the line.) Headcanons!! CC has an accent!! CC is able to leave the mall to hunt!! CC doesn't need to kill to eat, he simply just wants to!
